At the end of the year this poll will be all shaken up, usually this poll will just tell us how god the recruiting class is combined with the school talent that is already there. We will see what happens with this.....

Gonzaga is the highest ranked team from the northwest, it is difficult to predict how well our northwest teams will do up here but assuming the University of Washington breaks into the top 25 along with WSU, Lorenzo Romar, Mark Few, and Tony Bennett will be there for most of the year. With all the talent in the state it will be fun to watch them all compete against the spectacular talent across the country.

Middle of the week comments

The BCS polls are out and on top is Alabama, followed by Texas Tech then Penn State. My analysis is that if Texas Tech wins out they deserve to play Alabama in the title game. Texas Tech plays Oklahoma State next, Miami, and then Oklahoma. My prediction was Alabama and Penn State to be in the title game at the beginning of the year, but I will compromise if Texas Tech is still this impressive at the end.

Saturday overview in sports, top headlines

Saturday marked the first Saturday in a while that no major upsets occurred in a long time. Saturdays big games were all great ones, Texas and Colt McCoy took care of Mike Gundy's Oklahoma St's Cowboys, 28-24. McCoy is the front runner for the Heisman in my opinion and he did not disappoint Saturday with his performance of 391 yards and 2touchdowns to Jordan Shipley and Quan Cosby, Colt also rushed for a touchdown as well. There first loss might come soon though as they take on three potential top 25 teams in Texas Tech, Kansas, a,d Texas A&M who is looked solid. Next weekend vs. Texas Tech will lock McCoy's Heisman hopes up (Colt McCoy is already being endorsed by last years Heisman winner Tim Tebow of Florida). The number two ranked Alabama Crimson Tide took care of the Tenesse Voulenteers 29-3.
A game that was on ESPN 2 tongiht at 5 o'clock was the Notre Dame Washington game. There was a bigger headline after the game, which was 33-7. The headline was Ty Willingham, should he stay or should he go now? The answer I am getting from everyone is yes, he needs to go now, the Washington program needs a fresh face. Here is a picture of star Texas wide out Quan Cosby today against Oklahoma State. I will be on tomarow to talk about the NFL.

Sorry

I was to busy yesterday taking my friends all over the place (I am back at home from college). This morning the Texas Tech Red Raiders took care of the Kansas Jayhawks, big surprise huh? I was watching it and Reesing, the Kansas quarterback, was throwing interception after interception, the Kansas offense did not run more than 10plays offense in the third quarter. Tonight, we got the biggest game of the day, Penn State and Joe Paterno, and Ohio State with the number one recruit in the country Terell Pryor. Tonight's score prediction you ask??? Well I picked Alabama and Penn St. at the beginning of the season for the National Championship.... Penn St. 24 Ohio St 21.... there is not much that PSU and JoePa can pull it off if Chris Wells goes off but I think they will contain him, the game is tonight on ABC at 5, I will be at the Husky ND game over in Seattle, so I wont get to watch the game, but I will see the highlights after. I will be back on later tonight, I promise, to give you some of my thoughts on the World Series game tonight. Today's college football day has not had any big headlines.

Big weekend in football

Check back tomorrow for predictions on this Saturdays college football games.

World Series tied at 1-1, Rays win tonight though.

Well I have predicted the Rays in 6. I'm sure because I am right all the time that that will happen some how. With the final score being 4-2 tonight, it leaves Jamie Moyer for the Phillies and young 3 year vet Matt Garza for the Rays on the hill for Saturday night on FOX at 5 P.M. The Rays looked solid as usual after an off day the day before, but the American League will still prevail as usual. Prediction for Saturday you ask?? Well it will be....... 5-3 Rays, Moyer will go 5 innings, with 3 strikeouts and 4 walks. Garza will go 7 and leave with the bases loaded after giving up 3 runs, he will have had 6 strikeouts. Any predictions out there? Care to argue?

First entry

Finally you guys have a blog to keep up on all the days sports news, this blog will cover sports from football to golf, if you ever need to know the days games or news, or maybe just some funny bloopers this is the place to go.

Here is second baseman Chase Utley in the first game of the World Series. Utley hit the only Home run for the Phillies, and Carl Crawford hit the only home run for the Rays in their loosing effort. This looks to be a great series with the Rays up 2-0 at the moment, yesterdays final score was 3-2 Phillies. Check back later for the final results of game two, and a video that is a must watch from a football player not even high school yet.
